About WorkRight.AI
WorkRight.AI helps people put a problem into a clear, well-organised letter — a complaint, a request or a reply — when something has gone wrong at work, at home, with a company or with a public service.
What it does
- Case Checker reads your description and suggests a sensible next step and the kind of letter that usually fits.
- Draft Builder asks a few questions about what happened and what you want, then writes a first draft in English for you to edit.
- Much of the step-by-step guidance can be shown in ten languages, so you can describe your situation in the language you are most comfortable with. Some pages, including these guides, are in English only, and the letter itself is written in English.
- Guides explain the usual routes for common problems — who to write to first, the time limits, and where to go if you get no answer.
What it does not do
- It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. For advice on your own case, talk to a solicitor, a union representative or an advice service such as Citizens Advice.
- It never sends anything for you. You decide whether, when and how to send your letter.
- It cannot promise an outcome. A clear letter helps the other side understand what you are asking for; it does not decide the answer.
- Drafts are written with AI assistance and can contain mistakes. Read every draft carefully and change anything that is not right before you send it.
How the guides are written
Each guide is based on the official bodies that run the process it describes — for example GOV.UK, Acas, the Information Commissioner's Office and the relevant ombudsman — and lists those sources on the page. Each guide shows the date it was published or last updated. Rules and deadlines change, so check the official source before relying on a date or an amount.
